Mr. Derek Lawrence BSc. Chemistry/Geology

Managing Director

Mr. Derek Lawrence, the founder and Managing Director of Insepra – An Integrate Solutions provider in Trinidad, brings a wealth of international business experience having worked regionally, in Latin America and Europe for more than 25 years. He played a pivot role in the development of numerous distribution channels for many industrial products and packaging systems in Trinidad and other regional territories while at the US conglomerate, 3M InterAmerican.

He also managed the sales and market development of a portfolio of nine (9) different business groups which included Industrial Tapes and Specialty Products, Occupational Health & Environmental, Petrochemical and Construction, Adhesives and Abrasive Systems.Prior to this he worked with Givaudan-Roure, part of the Roche Group of companies from Switzerland where he was primarily responsible for the product development and design of synthetic and natural flavoring components used in food and beverage preparation.

Mrs. Nicole Lawrence FCCA, CA

Financial Director

Mrs. Nicole Lawrence, Financial Director, brings to the company a wealth of business and financial experience. She is currently the Managing Director of Grant-Thornton Orbit Solutions Ltd a professional services firm, providing Accounting Advisory Services, Corporate Services, Payroll accounting services and tax compliance and advisory services for Insepra – A Integrated Solutions provider in Trinidad. Prior to this, Nicole was the partner in charge of Ernst & Young’s Tax department in Trinidad and Tobago. She held that position for the at least eight years and played a pivotal role in the development of the Tax practice to be one of the leading tax practices in Trinidad & Tobago.

While at Ernst & Young she was also responsible for the various tax publications, including:

  • EY Tax Card

Nicole has also been involved in several committees within the public and private sector developing the tax legislation in Trinidad & Tobago. These include:

  • Member of the IWF (International Women’s Forum).

  • Member of Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad & Tobago (“ICATT”).

  • Chairman of the ICATT Tax Committee – with responsibility for educating and advising members of impact of changes in the tax legislation.

  • Member of the Non–Energy Tax reform committee chaired by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.

  • Member of the Advisory Committee for the establishment of the Revenue Authority.

  • Board Member of Royal Bank of Trinidad & Tobago Limited.
